Overview
source: linkGoogle's flagship Oklahoma AI and cloud campus, on roughly 400 acres at Perkins Road (US-177) and Richmond Road in Stillwater — a multi-phase, multi-decade buildout planned at up to about $3 billion, with up to six buildings of roughly 300,000 sq ft each. It anchors the $9 billion Oklahoma investment Google announced in August 2025 (alongside the Pryor expansion and new Muskogee County facilities). The Stillwater Planning Commission approved the 202-acre final plat 4-0 on November 4, 2025, and building permits for the first lots were issued; phase one is expected to be operational by 2027. Under the incentive deal Google pays no initial property tax and instead makes payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) — phase one brings about $900,000 split among Stillwater public schools, Meridian Technology Center, Payne County, and the county health department. Because Stillwater Electric is a public-power provider, OG&E needed voter approval to serve the campus: a franchise vote passed November 5, 2024, with the city set to receive roughly $2.25 million per data center per year once fully operational. At the time of that vote the customer was disclosed only as a "Fortune 100 company," not named as Google.
