Overview

source: link

On-site gas-turbine power plant for xAI's second Colossus campus, in Southaven, Mississippi (DeSoto County), just across the state line from the Memphis data halls. By April 2026 it had grown from 27 to at least 46 turbines (~500 MW) operating with no Clean Air Act preconstruction (PSD) or Title V permit — a potential-to-emit of more than 1,700 tons/year of NOx, likely the largest industrial NOx source in greater Memphis. Title is held by MZX Tech LLC.
